I made baba ganoush with my veggie box eggplants. It’s a marked departure from what I normally do with eggplants (ie. leave them in the fridge until they liquify and then toss them in the compost).
Feedback so far includes, “It made me feel sick, because of the taste.” Trying new things is fun! 😁

This is how I feel just existing in 2025. And given the deeply troubled relationship I’ve had with existing over the years, that’s pretty sucky.

I don’t want to accuse the ABC of bias and Lord knows, I wish Dutton would crawl back into the primordial swamp he emerged from, but multiple paragraphs (& pic) on 3 random dogs supporting Albo vs. a single sentence on a former PM’s support of Dutton was an interesting journalistic choice. 😆 #Auspol

But I guess there’s not much more the government could possibly do to address the housing crisis…except maybe disincentivise land and house hoarding, ditch negative gearing and CGT discounts, fund unis properly to reduce their reliance on foreign students, overhaul the building industry…etc #AusPol

If I’m reading their “Transparency Portal” correctly, during this same 12 month period, of the 110 cases that made it to the tribunal, half of NDIS decisions reviewed were varied or set aside. 1/4
