Familiar #MedSky faces help, but this still feels new. I’m in health comms because as my late husband’s caregiver, I saw how patients struggle to be heard—and how often I had to advocate 4 him. Patients deserve to be heard w/o someone having to step in on their behalf. That’s my story. What’s yours?

Familiar #MedSky faces help, but this still feels new. I’m in health comms because as my late husband’s caregiver, I saw how patients struggle to be heard—and how often I had to advocate 4 him. Patients deserve to be heard w/o someone having to step in on their behalf. That’s my story. What’s yours?

We don't need to go through 1st hand experiences to have empathy and to be proactive in addressing inequities. However, a lived experience does reveal the nuances & the need for doubling down on the commitment to keep pushing for better solutions in healthcare. wellbeyondordinary.com/navigating-h...
