I just finished listening to "America Last" by Jacob Heilbrunn. It does a good job of tracking far-right authoritarianism to the early 1900s. Pub'ed Feb 2024, it's spooky how the rhetoric of the right up to then is being executed verbatim now. For listening, I recommend libro.fm ❤️
