I don’t think zodiacs are real, but I think they can be helpful in reflecting on your life and connecting dots you might otherwise miss.
Yesterday was my Birthday! My Chinese zodiac is the Rat. After years of never seeing one, yesterday the biggest rat I’ve ever seen showed up in my backyard.

I’m several hours into Tales of the Shire and here’s my take.
I love:
I can decorate my house right away. They give you a bunch of great options right off the bat and I’m so happy that my home feels like my own already.
Crops don’t auto die when the seasons change. They just grow more slowly! 1/4

Yesterday we buried some of Dad’s ashes under a tree. Most of him though will be cast into the ocean where he loved to be. Fair winds and following seas Dad. I love you.

I have now completed my training to become an archery instructor! I can teach anyone who is a beginner. I’ll get to teach my daughters Girl Scout troop at the end of this summer!

Went camping in our van for a night. It was so nice keeping it simple. I practiced lighting a fire with my ferro rod, we hiked and enjoyed finding pretty mossy trees.

Attended my second nature skills class today. Focused on wildlife tracking, knot tying, fire building, wood carving, plant ID and shelter building! As a group we built this half shelter to give us an idea of how it works. Very fun!
