My favourite brand of clothing company emails are when they try to pitch insane outfits as ‘office appropriate’ workwear. My own self-imposed dress code is pretty loose, but not sure what office culture, other than maybe Vogue, is chill with micro shorts suiting and tube tops 😂

Last night I attended a 10th anniversary dinner for Primal Pasta in Saskatoon. It’s the best pasta place in town, imo, and the fact that my besties own it is just coincidental. A restaurant surviving - and thriving - for a decade in today’s economic conditions feels like something to celebrate 🎉🍝

It’s hard to explain to people outside academia (or to myself for that matter) why applying for imaginary university points that don’t provide extra money or benefits is important. But regardless, I’ve been recommended for promotion to Assistant Professor, so I guess that feels pretty good? 🤓🍎

A word to the wise: be careful about drinking non-traditional soda in clinic. The other day a young adult patient of mine asked if I was drinking a Smirnoff Ice. The funniest part is she was moderately disappointed when I frantically told her it was just a pop 😂😂
