The Pokemon TCG is a market for fools. If a card is truly rare enough that the sales are not frequent, having it slabbed and graded at a 7 or lower actually decreases the value. If a card is not actually rare in quantity, having it graded 7 increases the value.

I completed my 3rd vintage Pokemon card set at PRGE yesterday, Fossil is now complete! The last card I was missing is non-holofoil Articuno. I looked for this card at vendor halls for the last year and finally somebody had it for a reasonable price.
