If anyone here likes social deduction games (like Werewolf or Town of Salem), Blood on the Clocktower is free-to-play online and has honestly been great for meeting all sorts of new people. The Grim is really friendly and runs a lot of games. If it's cool, I could link their Discord.

2 key parts to making friends: finding people; making connection.

IMO, figure out what you like doing WITH people. Shared interests take you farther if you can do them together. RP/TTRPG, games, etc.

Quality > quantity, but you're going to work thru the qty to get to the quality. Don't fret.

I am enjoying the interpretive emojis, though.

Your art is wicked! I feel like it's right up the alley of the Call of Cthulhu TTRPG scene. If it interests you, you might be able to find some third party publishers through the Miskatonic Repository looking for an artist.

I used to have the same problem back when I played. Slow songs break my brain if I don't turn up the speed.

Ahaha. As someone who is from The South (grew up rural), I get nervous about this. We use terms of endearment so lightly that we are desensitized to it. They're almost meaningless - we'll say them to people we don't like, even. I've tried to break the habit, but sometimes they slip.
