Finally baked bread again and it feels great to have done. Arculata is one of my favorite recipes and it is taking all my willpower not to eat all of them.

Some photos from yesterday's hike. I'm now quite certain at least some of the canine tracks we're seeing are from coyotes since the beach we hit was pretty remote. Bonus points for anyone who wants to ID the birds.

@salgarious.bsky.social calls Batman "The Batted Man" for reasons unknown even to him. That brain worm has burrowed deep into my psyche, so when @digitalbowtie.bsky.social said Burger King, my brain instead subbed "The Burgered King" which is obviously a Souls boss. I present THE BURGERED KING.
Oh boy it's like, the Burger King's horrible vacant face on a whopper version of the Grafted Scion from a reference I took from The Villains Wiki. I've never been more proud of using my art for evil.

Went 7.5 miles last hike and was absolutely feeling it but managed to see a lot of critters so we'll call that a win. Excited to go back tomorrow.

This rules and the hill I will die on is Bethesda's Pirates of the Carribean for the XBox is an unrivaled achievement in pirate games. It does so much right and is incredibly fun despite being a buggy mess of "movie tie-in."

I was introduced to some beautiful trails outside of Dallas, Texas by @d-g-k.bsky.social . One of the better hikes I've been on recently and I'm eager to get back out there.

I feel like I'm running into more bunnies earlier in the day this year. My early evening walks have even included a few bold armadillos, though they weren't bold enough to stick around for a picture.
