It's another poem-y thing. It's a sequel to "I'm Trying."
A (fictional) park map. Most of the trails are marked in black, though one path is marked in green. Along the green portions of the path are the stanzas of a poem. The poem reads as follows: I walk through the park & gaze at the trees, the bushes, the rocks, cactus, deer, & bees. The whole of it is so foreign to me. So ancient, yet just beginning to be. Once upon a time I was just a pup, so small & weak I could hardly look up. But then the humans took me from my nest. I "chose" to conform: fit in like the rest. I was welcomed into a large, steel cage. And often told that I must "act my age." I don't blame my parents; they were both fine. After all, the make of the cage was mine. But the cage was so crushing, nonetheless. All of my feelings I couldn't express. All of my instincts, even if benign, I couldn't enact, nor accept as mine. So here I am now, walking through a park, longing for something. Straining my very being, yearning, listening beyond that shriveled heart. Trying to find myself once again. Looking for something real. I have been able to take brief sojourns from that mental cage. I should have done so at a younger age. I wish I could have. But for now, while I am still recovering from spiritual atrophy, I will take in the sights, scents, & sounds & learn the songs of the birds.

Silly, sappy love poem :3
A poem of 4 stanzas. The first 3 stanzas are displayed with black text; the fourth is displayed with red text. The poem reads as follows: How I adore my wolf, as I'm a little rat. For he is all I'm not, and much much more than that. As he is brave and strong, I look at him with awe. And how I, often, long the firmness of his paw. He serves me as my rock when he is close to me: he is an analgesic for all my anxiety. I do my best to tend to him; I often fail. He tells me not to fret and strokes my ears and tail. He tells me no one's perfect, though I disagree. For after all, there's few as imperfect as me. He sees the best in me; my wolf is as a dream. I try to trust in him, despite my mental cage's scream. We travel through our life, in silence and in play. We seek to aid each other, all throughout the day. He is a light in life, like sunshine from above. Without him all is dark;I guess this must be love. He holds me while we sleep, protecting me from harm. I sigh and close my eyes, all nestled 'tween his side and arm. And then I wake up alone. My dream was never to be.

A very short thing this time, with no imagery of any sort to go with it.
Black text on a white background. The text reads as follows: I am but a small rodent creature yet in response to cruelty, I must bite. While in retribution my body will be easily destroyed by those cruel ones, far larger than I in the estimation of the cruel and those larger than I the "mighty" blow my small bite might inflict upon their pride is a far greater thing than the pathetic life of a rat. Who am I to argue?

I guess this is a thing I do now. I (clearly) don't know much about poetry, but I think this counts.

This one is simply titled "I'm Trying"

Again, I'm not interested in feedback, positive or negative. Though I hope you enjoy.

Technically a repost, as the image was messed up the first time.
The image is of a (fictional) park map with large lines indicating main pathways, and smaller, dotted lines indicating more rough paths. Some of the path is green, but most is black. Along the green portion of the pathways are the lines of a poem-type-thing. The poem reads as follows: I went to the park today a strange amalgamation of natural and man-made. I strolled along many a pathway. Some paved with concrete. Others merely dirt, tread upon by human feet. I came upon a rough, rocky path, not easy to traverse. And I found that my paws were not as steady as they once were. A lifetime ago, before I shackled myself to the steel cage I formed in my own mind. A prison I made by letting myself be subdued by human kind. I am a rat and fearful by nature. It was an easy thing for me to do. But I went to the park today and briefly escaped from that cage within my mind. And though all the paths I followed were already laid and by humans at that I feel I made my own way. I, a young, unsure, and very afraid little rat.

Last night I cried and, for the first time in my life, I felt the urge to write a poem. Or whatever this is.

I'm still trying to figure out what all of it means to me. I'm not interested in feedback, positive or negative, though I hope people that find it like it.
Eight stanzas of a poem-type-thing. They are arranged in a circular pattern. Three of them are connected by a triangular shape of arrows. These are the three stanzas that are meant to be read first, though the stanzas can also be read clockwise from the top. The title of the poem "To Be A Rat" is in the center. The poem is as follows. I dream of a better world. To live in a real world. A world of the world instead of our world. A world we haven't disposed of to create our own simulacrum. I dream of understanding my own body. To close my eyes and to see. To explore the world with my nose and to feel it beneath my paws. To burrow into blessed Gaea and to feel her life surround me. I dream of the pleasant scent of soft yielding earth and wood and moss. To take joy in the bounty that Gaea has provided for us. Instead of the foul rejection of concrete and plastic. We grind up the bones of Gaea to shape into our own superior designs making a mockery of hers. We dredge up the blood of beautiful and mighty beasts denying them the peace they deserve. I dream of being seen as I am. A small rodent thing happily scurrying and jumping about. As this is how Gaea meant to form me but not even she is perfect. I forgive her and hope she forgives me. Even in her cruelty I long for Gaea. For I would rather the honesty of the dour vultures who will eat my body after my death than the smiles of the human ones who feast while I writhe. I would trust in Gaea as I know she would trust in me. Through my wit and skill I would persevere through her tests. I would trust in my fur to protect me from the biting of insects and the cold of winter. I dream of a good death as we are all to die. I will spend my life borrowing that which I need from Gaea. And I will willingly happily return everything to her.
