100% it was pokemon, but the first anime I watched knowing what anime was, was junjou romanitca. I learned the term yaoi off a fanfic website then *immediately* needed to know more and I was forever changed 😌

like I'm reading this paper about how kissing influences the microbiomes of people's mouths, and they estimated how many bacteria are transfered per kiss. don't know what I'll do with this info but I'm so happy to have it

WIP: baby yuimui / tokitocest find a dragonfly
There, sitting on a leaf, was a dragonfly. Muichiro put his finger to his lips. Together they inched closer, still hand in hand. The dragonfly was a vibrant, brilliant green; the kind that caught the light and seemed to glisten, like a gemstone. Its see-through wings quivered in the breeze, and Yuichiro could even make out the delicate webbing that ran through them. “Isn't it pretty?” Muichiro whispered. Yuichiro turned to look at him. He was staring at the dragonfly, a delighted smile across his face that made his eyes crinkle. There was a small gap in his lower teeth where one had fallen out. “Yeah.” Yuichiro made himself turn back towards the dragonfly, his grip on Muichiro's hand tightening slightly. He wasn't sure why, but he felt embarrassed that he had been staring at his brother like that.

I'm reading Signs From the Wind and I KNEW IT!!! I knew Yuichiro would do this !! I literally have a scene planned in my current WIP where he does this! I love Yuichiro so much 🥹
Yuichiro was an adept cook. He could chop down trees. He could trap and dress game. And for all his cutting remarks and bouts if temper, he made Muichiro's favorite dish, daikon simmered in miso, whenever he could get his hands on the ingredients. Muichiro could still taste the comforting flavor of miso infusing the soft daikon
