I’m not sure that’s accurate as far as no one is staying. Get where you’re coming from. Think the whole “secret level” tie in was to bring in the SM2 Players who are new to 40k to another platform and maybe they’ll seek out more lore elsewhere as well. GW seems to think so it all over their website

definitely see where you’re coming from. For the masses, Bolter porn cool animation is what gets eyes on. There were some really cool parts to the animation like the blue neon blood in the dark, the little psyker who pops out of the case. It was pretty slick overall. Catered to the new SM2 players.

I do agree on your point but I still thought it was awesome. For a first real mainstream intro though, I think this is what you want to show to people who might stumble on it.

Absolutely. Sometimes I just don’t have the mental capacity. Other times I just tell myself “what’s the point” when the person isn’t going to argue in good faith anyway.
