I was in a Masks of Nyarlathotep campaign that went 5 years. We mostly played twice a month, though it sometimes got down to once a month due to conflicts.

Great point. Grading difficulties b/w multiple options gives players agency to go the slightly harder route if they're better at that skill w/o minimizing the better choice. If your system can accommodate this, you've got something solid brewing!

This is actually the entire conceit of my game. Players run PCs stuck in a virtual reality trying to evade capture & deletion from system authorities.

Most, if not all, PCs join criminals orgs to get support, do jobs, & move around, but there's no ultimate place to hide.

It's all good!
