One of the things the rule is trying to prevent is goal hanging by offensive players. It's less fun to watch if players can just hang out by the goal and wait for a long ball.

I just read Orbital by Samantha Harvey which is about one full day (16 orbits) on the ISS. Amazing to think there are people living up there for long periods of time. Great shot!
