There's about 300,000 older people in care homes (and increasing over time), so £1,000 per week is c.£16bn per year, which would maybe require an extra 2% on basic rate tax (or 10% if it's funded via higher rate tax)? (using HMRC's ready reckoners, NI impacts would be higher)

Either AI needs to get much better (and I can stop paying Amazon money, getting my books from ChatGPT), or Amazon needs to get a handle on this quickly

Not been all of them, but they seem to follow a similar format, from the first line of the intro where people always start a "journey", they're "born into" something, and similar errors in each book.

If I didn't know any better, would suggest these are all AI generated...this is not a good use of AI, and hopefully Amazon can deal with this quickly!

From a quick review of the "read sample" option on Amazon, they do appear to be following an amazingly similar format - thanks from the author, very adjective heavy paragraphs, and an amazing overlap with the wikipedia articles for their subject matter.

Maybe University of Luton since it's halfway between the two?

Ditto, been waiting ages. Nothing complicated either a few thousand £ from an old AVC.

I really like the article, and would love to have done this, but think this is a different Jon Neale. My ancestors worked in the Birmingham brass trade, but no other connection between brum and me!
