If Cyrus’s pulse was any indication, he felt something for Lucien, and that something was more likely to be a surface-level attraction rooted in the superficial thrill of wanting something forbidden to him. If Cyrus wanted Lucien at all, in any capacity, it was incredibly unlikely that it was in the same all-consuming, breathtaking, heart-wrenching way that Lucien wanted Cyrus. Fuck. He’d let the thought slip. There it was, out in the open in his mind and finally free in his heart. Lucien wanted Cyrus.
