Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park Osaka
Beautiful park with a botanical garden, lake and waterfalls. Also a windmill surrounded by flowers. I never see this place as a recommendation but it is definitely worth a visit.

Technically a cafe but to any FFXIV fans, the Eorzea cafe Osaka branch is worth it. The food was surprisingly tasty for a themed place, plus you get a free coaster with everything you get on the menu.

I use Google maps to help navigate train stations in Japan. It tells you the line, the platform, the time and I've always found it to be very accurate. Probably better apps out there that do more but it's always helped me out a lot.

Hidden Spot
Not sure how "hidden" it is, but Shukkeien Garden in Hiroshima is worth visiting. full of koi and turtles to feed, a bamboo forest and museum plus beautiful flowers and scenery. Very peaceful.
