that was a real one btw. The only other details I remember were that it involved a very overdramatic michael bay style camera move and that it was very funny.

I find it helps to put all my ideas into one big google doc and then scroll through it sighing when I actually have time to draw

real talk though I started drawing a stupid little cartoon version of myself and it's so powerful I get why every cartoonist has a stupid little cartoon version of themselves now. It was only my lack of distinctive hairstyle or headwear that was holding me back all this time.

I watched a great production of it from my local theatre troupe and imho it also gets at least half of its entertainment value from the fact that so many people put so much effort and rehearsal and athletic prowess and money for tickets to enjoy a book of nonsense poems.

Things have been so wild I didn't even introduce you to "Pikachu." He was at the cat rescue/pet store where I was buying Bug's special food. 8mo old, listed as ♀️, & the people running the rescue were too afraid of him to clean his cage properly so anyway he's at my house now.

They literally sent the wrong version to theatres because they did EVERYTHING in post and then had to rush to meet a deadline for a song award or something.

Honestly the bit in Cats (2019) where two pink disembodied hands come up and start doing close up magic like an old schmoyoho video because they missed a CG pass for a $100MM budget movie I was watching in cinemas was a sublime movie watching experience. 10/10. Tears in my eyes, gasping for breath.
