I get 11 points if I limit it to this year.

Since I'm a fencer, this is required watching annually.

Poor Kevin. He deserved at least a crow.

The party you don't want to vote for is actively suppressing fair voting. The other party is just trying to gain ground in the "don't want to vote for" camp.

That sounds like quite a bit of waste and fraud.

Search for fast dry inks mountainofink.com/blog/fast-dr...

Paper is important too. The papers that show off properties of ink tend to dry slower. Start with Rhodia and see if that works for you. A fine nib will be more forgiving on absorbent papers, like copy paper, less ink to cause problems.

I worked at a golf course in the 80s and Matt "Guitar" Murphy was a regular.

I'm glad to see the Explorer on your list. It's one of my favorites. News from Pilot that they're discontinuing the Lightive (=Explorer) left me confused and sad. Or is it just name Lightive being discontinued?

This is a beautiful pen. Photos don't do it justice.

Hah, I get it now. You're already a CEO.

Our local store has one and they're the anchor store in the strip.

Probably better to have a use for pens than having to invent tasks requiring a pen. Pens, ink, and paper are dangerously seductive. Or you could just get a bigger case.

But do you have the temperament and skills to prevent you from learning about the business. Most people can learn.

I got 4. The whole fam damnily gets one.

No, but one of my favorite pen makers is there. Stop by and see Darailpensz. Super nice guy.

Whew, no dents. I'm not a Jinhao fan so I tend to think something is wrong with this pen. Does it write if you just dip it in ink?
October 6, 2025 at 4:02 PM
First observation: if those are dents in the paper from the nib, you're pressing too hard and may damage the nib.

Now it's mostly questions. What brand/model pen? Cartridge? Is the cartridge fully seated into the pen? How long did you wait for the ink to flow into the nib and feed?

It's good to want. Better than needing.

The grip is a little smaller and the cap seems to seal better.
I'm a big fan of the Explorer. Personally, I'd rather Pilot discontinue the Kakuno or Metro.

I posted comparison views of the section for someone not long ago.
