Update: NASA reported the Parker Solar Probe successfully completed its closest flyby of the sun. On Dec. 26, the team received a signal from the probe "indicating it's in good health and operating normally."

Finally a company standing up for moral values
Costco responded to shareholders requesting that it withdraw from DEI policies. The response was direct and to the point: Costco says, "Our board has considered this proposal and believes that our commitment to an enterprise rooted in respect & inclusion is appropriate & necessary."

I hope people put on their resolutions for 2025 to be kinder to everyone.
My hope for the new year is that we can at least respect people we disagree with and conduct our discussions with civility.
