#RCMP Calls Out #TimHouston For Lying About Cannabis Laced With Fentanyl

"In a statement RCMP said that testing of seized products is conducted by Health Canada and the #NovaScotia RCMP is not aware of any fentanyl having been detected in cannabis products seized by the RCMP"

@hfx-fire.bsky.social union has stated they can't keep up with #Halifax population growth. The Middle Sackville Fire is a prime example of this.

In a direct follow up post by Halifax Professional Fire Fighters they stated they had not only half the crew required but this was a failure of leadership

West Dalhousie / Long Lake Wildfire remains at 8,247 hectares reported by DNR and remains Out Of Control.

Fire crews both local and far are focusing on the eastern side specifically around Paradise Lake.

⚠️ The West Dalhousie / Long Lake wildfire is still out of control and now estimated at 8026 hectares which is roughly 80 square kilometres.

The rain today will not make an overall difference on the fire conditions.

This wildfire has more than DOUBLED in size to estimated 7,780 hectares due to extreme conditions yesterday.

24 fines have been issued with at least 7 being $25,000 for violating the #NovaScotia Burn bans.

We all need to do our part to reduce risks of any fires during this very dry season.

Should #Halifax invest in an Aquarium?

Beaty Centre for Marine Biodiversity aims to open up an Aquarium this fall. They need $200k in annual funds from Halifax for 5 years to cover some of their $653k yearly costs.

The rest of the yearly funds would be ticket sales $286k and fundraising $170k

It's a bit ironic that the #PC leader is preaching about security issues, when he refuses to get security clearance.

The U.S #Tiktok ban is based on "Top Serect" information and hypotheticals. Google and Meta steal far more personal data and openly sell it to 3rd parties.

While in a housing crisis with rental costs higher than we have ever seen, yet #NovaScotia has Corporate landlord Killiam Properties celebrating that in the past 9 months of this year making $49.96 million in revenue.

With rental rates going up by 20.9% for all new tenants to avoid the rental cap.

When casting your vote in #novascotia it is very important to stop and think " What did this party do for the people when they needed them the most".

This question alone among many examples is why I'm not voting for #timhouston and the #pc government

Advance polls to vote are open till the 23rd then election day is 25th-26th so let's get out there and have #NovaScotians voices be heard!

If you're expecting anything through Canada Postal it may be delayed as the workers are on strike.

With ideas such as switching to 7 day delivery system it begs to question what other ideas could Canada Post implement to get out of debt and more relevant? #canada #canadapost #talkswithnerds
