Day 4: Meltwater by @cwahmanholm.bsky.social

I read this whole book in one sitting, in the sneaky presence of a tiny snake, and am still dazed by its vivid grief.

My #SealeyChallenge Day 3 was Transgenesis by Ava Nathaniel Winter.

Shoutout to the Eugene Public Library and reminder that you can request your Sealey Challenge books from your local library!

For #SealeyChallenge day 2, I’m reading the brilliant Rose Zinnia’s Togethering.

Also, reminder to show your book to snails you encounter bc sometimes they will want to crawl all over the book and explore it for 15+ minutes & will leave you with little snail chomps out of the pages.

What are you reading this month?

Not quite moss, but dewdrops left in the trail of cottonwood seed fluff. If you look closely you can see the burrows and tunnel mouths of tiny insects (which I confirmed by sitting there until I watched both a spider and ant enter different burrows)
