Well it hasn’t hit me, but my Dad, 94, died died in his sleep Weds am.
My best recent memory of him was watching the RNC together this summer and him cursing out Trump 😁

At the Tryon Equestrian Center in NC they have provided retail space rent free to stores destroyed in Hurricane Helene. Many of the stores from Chimney Rock, NC have found a new home here.

This could make me lose my fucking mind. I beat myself up for years after having an autistic child, wondering if somehow I did something to cause it. Now RFKjr wants to look at “different ways of parenting” that might have contributed to the epidemic.

Got to see my 94 yr old dad today. He lost his 2nd wife this summer. He raised 9 kids and did pretty much everything around the house himself (gardening, carpentry, plumbing, cooking, painting, repairs, etc.) and is in a wheelchair now, so it was hard seeing him so limited. But we had a great visit.
