Design for a more complex belt pouch made of cork leather.

I'm planning to layer the pieces for this. The twig is the front of the strap, and the pouch interior will be the shape of the moth and moon (minus the long tail part).

Barred owl in the Missouri botanical garden today.

@irisflorafawn.bsky.social spotted this birb and helped me find it and take this photo! She tapped my phone screen to focus on the bird since I had my hands full aiming the phone camera through one side of my binoculars 😅

Took a much needed day off yesterday after two weeks of pushing through. Napped on a stone bench in the botanical garden, watched bees, and found these really cool mushrooms. I also saw common yellowthroats in forest park and a chipmunk almost ran up my leg. 10/10.

3 more weeks of STL ren fest.

I really enjoy the invertebrates I get to see when vending outside. This stink bug hung out on the ceiling of my tent right by me for like four hours. There was also a really cool wheel bug walking around, but I had to move that one.
The stinkbugs are so derpy and gentle.

I painted a bunch of natural cork today and lasered these little front pieces for small leaf pouches! this size is perfect for earplugs, coins, or other little things.

Making progress on the design of my leaf pouch. I cut a larger one, with no fabric backing (so it's more flexible), and moved the zipper so it could be larger and allow the pouch to hold more volume.
