Iran's FM Araghchi won't visit New York confirmed the MFA spokesman Baghaei.

He was supposed to attend the ministerial meeting of the UNSC on Syria & Palestine.

"Due to the regional developments & the ceasefire in Gaza, priorities have changed," explained Baghaei.

According to Kazem Jalali, Iran's ambassador in Moscow, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will visit Russia on January 17.

Meanwhile, EU sources talk about another ice-melting meeting with Iran on JCPOA in Geneva in the 2nd half of January. Iran's MFA spokesman confirmed this.

Iran FM @araghchi left Tehran for Baghdad to meet & talk with FMs of Iraq & Syria regarding recent developments in Syria.

Syria's FM has arrived before Araghchi.

Russia is not invited as far as I know. Turkey is not there either. It's an Astana-like format, not Astana itself.

The meeting of the ministers of the member countries of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) will be held in Tehran next Sunday, December 8th from 8:30 a.m. local time.

Turkish sources reported that the Astana meeting on the current developments in Syria will be held on Friday in Doha, Qatar.

The meeting will most probably be at the FM level.

Germany confirmed plans for talks between Iran & E3 over Iran's nuclear program & its regional role.

“I can confirm that a meeting at the level of officials & political directors on the subject of the nuclear issue is in the cards,” said Germany's FM Spokx Christian Wagner.

The meeting between EU mediator Enrique Mora & Iran's Deputy FM Majid Takht-e-Ravanchi will be held on Thursday in Geneva, confirmed the EU Spokesman Peter Stano.

Takht-e-Ravanchi will meet with E3 representatives (UK, France, & Germany) on Friday.
