'Chad Power' surprisingly get it all right. We also talk about the ending of 'Task,' which also gets it and give our thoughts on the first episode of 'Welcome to Derry.' Check it out!

We think 'Black Rabbit' still works and here's why; sadly, 'The Last Frontier' does not work at all; 'Chad Powers' has actual tension; 'The Lowdown' has things to say, and not just about Tulsa; 'Task' could have made the best episode of the year. Hear the full podcast in any pod app!

This week, we've got class reunions, 'Chad Powers' trying to come back, 'Monster' is lacking, 'Bad Rabbit' on Netflix, 'The Lowdown' shines on Hulu, and more on 'Task' and the bikers.

Hey, y'all! I swear, we're putting out can't-miss episodes. This week in non-spoilers it's 'The Lowdown,' 'Black Rabbit,' 'Task,' and 'Alien: Earth.' Then when we talk some deep spoilers, it's only the third episode of 'Task' and the ending of 'Alien: Earth.' Philosophical and shit!
September 30, 2025 at 12:16 PM
From this week's episode, we discuss 'Task' episode two, 'Alien: Earth' episodes 4-5, and a little news from Adam and his band. Here's a highlight reel, but the true grit is in the whole episode!

This week, we discuss all the streaming options suddenly available, the first episode of 'Task,' the first two episodes of 'Alien: Earth,' and the second season of 'Blue Lights' in full. It's one of our best episodes to date!
September 16, 2025 at 1:31 PM
On this week's podcast episode, we preview the HBO crime drama 'Task' as well as get deep into episodes one through four of 'Blue Lights' Season Two. And we have a ton of fun. All podcast episodes are divided into non-spoilers to begin and spoilers after a break! Lord!

How 'It's Always Sunny...' is the American example; plus, 'Blue Lights' continues into season two, episode one but does not miss a beat of quality. As always, it's non-spoilers first before the spoiler section. Listen in any podcast app you prefer! https://thealabamatake.com/podcast/taking-it-down

This week on our show, we talk about how the ESPN app was a debacle and adds to confusion, how 'Blue Lights' decides its rules, and why 'Alien: Earth' still cooks in a brief check in with that series. In spoilers, we break down episodes three through six of 'Blue Lights.' Catch the highlights here!
August 26, 2025 at 3:31 PM
This week: the first three episodes of 'Blue Lights' builds on regional fear; plus, a short preview of 'Alien: Earth.' Give it a go, but let this highlight reel thoroughly entice!
