28 March 1940 INC annual session at Ramgarh. Here Phillips Talbot met Congress leaders. He noted Bacha Khan “There is nothing wily about him, nothing clever. He lives with a deep conviction of God & believes that difficulties in the path of his followers mean they haven’t made themselves worthy.”

I had a sneak peak at this new book by Dr. Nafeez Ahmed on the origins and key people behind the alt right.
My take homes?
1) Look at each character in this web as a node in a network. They don’t operate on their own
2) They are not particularly smart. Lucky pseudo scientists at the right time.

Did you hear about the rose that grew
from a crack in the concrete?
Proving nature's law is wrong it
learned to walk with out having feet.
Funny it seems, but by keeping its dreams,
it learned to breathe fresh air.
Long live the rose that grew from concrete
when no one else ever cared.

Exiles lament
#poetry
No, says the wall, and I turn back.
No, says the mountain
And I sit sad in the valley
Listening to the river that says
Trespasser, trespasser, trespasser.
I stubbornly say, All the same
It’s still beautiful.
And I know that’s true
But I know also
Why it fails to recognise me.

‘It may be said: “They came in vain
Let it not *be* that they came in vain

We leave this, the bequeath, to you;
We finished what we could, we left the rest to you.

Remember, this is work entrusted -
Remember, beloved, we shall meet again.’
