Won't let me learn the emote, says I already know it, but when I try to use the emote, the game says I don't know it...

You shouldn't assume they will hold to a four month schedule. With the amount of content coming in this patch, I can see them not posting next patch until beginning of January. We are getting expansions of current content and a new deep dungeon, plus an unexpected crossover.

...because I can't picture the "done", the "what is all this for?", for the story.
Some would say let the stories write themselves. But that's a problem when you don't know where to go or how to get there. If there is no end, how do you get there, how _can_ you get there?

I think about all the various stories and ideas I have, but can't progress or finish, because I can't picture how they end. Certainly not for a lack of ability to imagine. The pages and pages of notes and thoughts and ideas prove that.
But I don't know where to go, what the end is... (9/ )

I want, I want...
I think back to games I have run, and how I never finished those stories. Someone else would always step in and end them. Because I couldn't picture where they ended. (8/ )

And I can never give a solid answer to it, because I can't picture it. It hasn't happened, I haven't experienced it, I don't know what it looks like...
Oh, sure. I can say, "I want to..." with the best of them. I want to be a writer. I want to travel. I want to meet someone and settle down. (7/ )

There is better explanation out there than this, but reading about it in the first place, it made me realize some things about myself.
One of the things I've always hated about job interviews is that inevitable, stupid, and ridiculous question: where do you see yourself in five years? (6/ )

Something we have never seen, or have limited experience with, or by its inherent nature is vague? That's when we fall down. We can't see the "done" in our mind's eye, so we can't work backwards from that to know what to do, or where to start. (5/ )

Executive Dysfunction, specifically the Task Paralysis part, is a direct result of our non-verbal working memory having difficulty with picturing the end result, the "done" image. If it's something we have experienced, sure, pull it up from long term memory, we can do that. (4/ )

ADHD people have problems with retaining things in our working memory. Exact reasoning/causes may be debated, but it's one of the core defining traits of our distractibility -- the infamous, stereotypical "Squirrel!/Oooh, shiny..." reaction, that pulls us off task. (3/ )

Non-verbal is what we use to hold abstract ideas, concepts, any thing that isn't a tangible, sensible thing. This includes the future results of a problem or task we are working on currently. When the thing is "done."
