I am a long time Dem, and I’m tired of the woke hijacking my party. I’m tired of the extremists that have decided any who don’t agree with “me” are super villains.
And this is doing the same thing in reverse. Acting like the common people can do no wrong, everything is always the officers fault. I’m in the “don’t trust cops” camp but that doesn’t mean I buy this kind of “us VS them” bs.
The message from the White House this morning is that, once again, it falls on ordinary American citizens to remain calm and professional when dealing with the heavily armed agents of the government because they are very emotional and might fly off into a murderous rage at the slightest insult.

Just because someone holds a different belief than you doesn’t make them cartoon villains or Nazis. It is possible to (audible gasp) hold a different opinion.

The conservative rhetoric around protecting women makes more sense once you understand that victims exist purely as a hypothetical for them. Once a victim actually claims the label, they become a threat. This is also why they prefer dead women to living victims.

Just because someone holds a different belief than you doesn’t make them cartoon villains or Nazis. It is possible to (audible gasp) hold a different opinion.

I do not support the idea of annexing another country, but let’s not pretend this is some random idea from a crazy guy. There are genuine concerns and reason that we should be very interested in the island. China and Russia certainly are, and that can’t be ignored.

When it comes to the military I’m not a typical Dem… I’m happy when we stand for freedom and help end a dictator. I’m happy when we stomp on some terrorists slaughtering people for their faith. I’m happy when we put our money and power where our mouth is.

Democrats need to strongly and uncompromisingly demand that Trump is removed from office for illegally starting a war for oil that benefits no one.

There’s only one group who wants to rewrite the world to suit their opinions, suit their desires, and twist everything into their little bubble. One group wants to force science to conform to them…. And demonize all who don’t share that belief… believe as you wish, just don’t force it on anyone.

Compromise isn’t evil, humility is a useful virtue, and peace requires both power and restraint.
I’m not saying it’s easy, but we certainly can stand to it. We are more than capable. The question is, are we mentally and morally strong enough to do so?
