For me it’s having those things on display on a shelf. People can look at your things and go “Ah man, this game is awesome!” In my case, I even made a display wall for Tekken. Can’t do that with Game Keys.

The worst part about GTA is it became kind of bland. I think Ballad of Gay Tony was the last one with any real character to it, but even 4 was just ok for me. Vice City and GTA3 still hold on to that silliness of the original game.

When I started working in Gunma Prefecture for the first time, one of the trains on the JR line here didn’t even have automatic doors, so you’d have to pull them open by hand. They finally retired those trains around 2018 🤣

I also recommend the other “spinoff,” Final Fantasy Adventure, which was actually the first Seiken Densetsu game that would become Secret of Mana. It’s one of the games from my childhood I played through and beat, and when I did, I was crying (not only cause of the story, but because I finished it!)
