Durango Business Improvement district's monthly board meeting was adjourned at 10:03 this morning. They closed after discussing the developing choice on whether to change Durango's farmer market layout. The board expressed mixed views and decided they are not ready to decide yet.

John Waters has been named town manager of Bayfield. Waters, claims to have worked with a community similar to Bayfield, he noted he has faced many of the same challenges Bayfield does. Waters will begin his debut as Town Manager in mid-August. #218j2
