Now, for a complaint: this is, quite obviously, a paleontology paper. It deals with taphonomy.
We had desk-rejections from two paleontology journals because of the actualistic experiments.
An editor told me the paper "had no fossils". We analyzed 306 fossils. So disappointing.

Now, for a complaint: this is, quite obviously, a paleontology paper. It deals with taphonomy.

Here are some modern x fossil comparisons:
- winged mayflies with withered wing margins
- unlucky mayfly nymphs with disarticulated heads
- dragonfly nymphs with extended mouth apparatus
They are the *exceptions*. Most Crato Formation aquatic insects fossilized quickly and are well-preserved.

Are you sure about that? The paper says it is in the museum in Marrakesh.

Rolou sim, foram entrevistas feitas a um podcast de direita, aí muita gente da esquerda ficou em negação. Agora saiu numa revista grande, e com mais vítimas.
