I made a free Chat with PDF app — you may think "oh, another chat with pdf app!?"

Yes you're right.

but I built it with Supavec (oss RAG platform) to inject PDF data to AI.

and you know what?

you can do the same very easily!

I'm building an open-source alternative to Carbon .ai (RAG as a Service) — Supavec

Today is christmas eve but yeah i wanna post this.

After Carbon .ai's shutdown, I saw a clear need for a reliable, open-source RaaS solution.

saw a japan youtube debate on if the country should change due to rising tourist complaints.

this seems absurd to me.

every country should be allowed to remain unique - that's what creates global diversity.

if you don't like japan, move elsewhere.
if you don't like the us, move elsewhere.

Lost in a late-night coding session.

There's something magical about watching your product take shape line by line.

Feeling that rush of excitement again after so long.

i read The Psychology of Money and it explains about a tail event.

meaning rare events have extreme outcomes.

that's how VCs make money.

A few big wins offset numerous investment failures.

this applies to founders as well.

most attempts fail, but just a few of them can produce enormous results

I always looked abroad, only to realize I barely knew my own country.

That's why I focused my nomad journey primarily in Western Japan.

Meeting new cultures and interesting people has added color to my life, and it feels great to have friends all across my own country :)

If you're currently nomading in SEA or similar places, I highly recommend trying it in your own country.

Foreign travels excite, but rediscovering your homeland brings unexpected joy.

I spent 7 months as a digital nomad in SEA before returning to Japan in June this year.

July 1 - 5: Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture
July 5 - 8: Hakata, Fukuoka Prefecture
July 8 - 14: Hiroshima Prefecture
Sep 1 - 7: Takeo, Saga Prefecture
Sep 7 - 28: Tsuwano, Shimane Prefecture
Nov 4 - 9: Odawara, Kanagawa Prefecture
Nov 9 - 16: Oarai, Ibaraki Prefecture

Even nearby international flights to SEA come with stress.

Sometimes it's hard to find food from your home country too.

Domestic flights require less luggage and shorter boarding times, so there's zero tension.

It's perfect.

My greatest adventure was waiting at home...

Flying to Fukuoka ✈️

This will probably be my last nomad base within Japan for now.

tbh, being a digital nomad within Japan is absolutely stress-free and amazing.
