i really dont like that they made both mega raichus so reminiscent of pikachu. the alolan raichu is also just a reference to surfing pikachu. i think we should give it a chance to shine without linking it directly back to its preevolution

hate to be a both sideser but it is fucking impossible to engage with pokemon discourse without your brain melting. the fans refuse to acknowledge the flaws and the haters are still shitting their pants over some pokemon being removed from a game six years ago

i will say though the latest episode has me conflicted. i want to trust that the writers are doing something great but it does feel like fionnas character was assassinated. a lot of her actions this season make no sense given what shes been through.

i saw people complaining about fionna and cake and how its rebecca sugars fault that the story is kinda bad. not only has she not written a single episode of fionna and cake but the last adventure time episode she wrote was in 2013.

it is 2025 and game freak still has not programmed following pokemon to match the players run speed. this is a mechanic they actually had figured out in 2017 when they released the “lets go” games. and i guess ever since then they just decided to make their fucking games consistently worse
