Follow the money and think critically, said Pierre-Henri Gouyon during the 60 year anniversary symposium at Branféré, when he explained how the tobacco industry has manipulated public opinion through social engineering, a practice taken over by the pharma industry to plant doubt into the public.

He started as a nanny for Lukas, son of Christophe and Hedwige. But soon he wanted to observe the chimpanzees. He became the specialist of mother - infant interactions at @taichimpproject.bsky.social. He trained many students of Christophe's and even more field assistants, before he moved to WCF.

On Sunday, April 6, Mama gave birth to her first offspring, a little female. She sits relaxed lent against a tree and the babies foot dangles out between her legs. Mama is daughter to Mystere, one of our oldest females (ca. 50 y) in the North Group, observed since 45 years! Welcome to the world.

Back from following TCP's North-East group for a couple of days. Day 1 was running, moving all over the territory and getting soaked by the first rain of the season. However, day 2 was just a beauty 😍. Calm and restful, with grooming, playing, and feeding on the ground. Just #chimpanzees on display:
