Doing this is personally more preferable to me instead of:

1) taking copious notes of each chapter, which feels like climbing a mountain of text; or

2) cramming a semester's worth of stuff into a cheat sheet or two, which is tiring to make and a pain to revise

Use the other side of the A4 paper for homework problems/past exam questions on that topic, and write the solutions for it in red.

Rinse and repeat for every other chapter to be tested on your final exam.

It will never not be embarrassing to worry about homework and exams after graduating college, but I digress
