Freelance writer unit rates are destroying the craft of animation writing. These aren't just bad rates, they are UNLIVABLE. They are turning a career into a hobby, only viable for those who are already well off. When we say we can't live off of these wages we mean it.

Studios want to replace ARTISTS & WRITERS with AI. Your child’s cartoons could be made by the tech that told people to eat glue! A kid’s storyteller shouldn’t be an algorithm.
