Overall, a great trip! Couldn't have asked for anything better

Day 8 and effective last day in Japan.

Had a great time and sucks that I'll have to leave, but its what holidays are after all

Day 7 in Japan! 2nd to last day here unfortunately. Time really has zoomed by, its kinda crazy.

Day 5 of Japan! Unfortunately, I've fallen sick towards the end of this day so I don't have much to show 😭

My luck too, I got sick in Japan last year. Ah well.

Day 6 is me currently in bed for 98% of it, but I'll see what I can do! It just sucks literally sitting in bed doing nothing

Day 4 in Japan! Although my last day in Kobe, we were delayed by like 2 hours and my phone died when I arrived in Tokyo 😭

Tomorrow is Tokyo proper as well as going to the Red Bull Gaming Sphere for Tatekai Tuesdays (weekly Tekken 8 tournament). Should all be fun!

I definitely need to come here again! But, I definitely need to go to the gym since this place is super hilly.

Day 2 of Japan! Still in Kobe and managed to meet up with my UK friend who moved here 1.5 years ago!

I have come to realise that its hard to find 4 photos since you can really take so many. But, here's my best go!

I'm nutritiously bad at taking photos of trips I go to.

So, to track that (and an excuse to post more), I'll post 4 photos each day of my trip to Japan.

Day 1 (and day 0 of travelling) in Japan! I'm in Kobe until Monday.

A little boring as I did go to sleep straight after the train but hey!

As much as UK trains suck in terms of being anytime remotely on time, I will say its always nice leaving London and just looking out the window to see greenery

This Silksong game ain't too bad

Not sure if anyone else is the same but if I start a show/game, stop for a while, and try to get back in, I get Extremely anxious about feeling that I'll be lost or that I'm wasting time, so I end up Never picking it up even though I really enjoyed my time with it

Exactly 6 months into learning Japanese and I hit a nice round number of hours for study/immersion.

Although it averages only 1 hour 35ish per day, its nice to stick to it for this long compared to dropping it many times over in the last few years.

Hoping I'm able to keep it up

If God didn't want me to nap, why am I always so eepy?

Learning a language as an adult has got to be one of the hardest things to seeing very very little progress, despite doing learning hours a day, for months.

166 hours in, and I maybe understand 3% of that in a sentence?
