Standing on the doorstep of where Taehyung lives, has lived for the past few years, feels really surreal to Jimin. He feels dramatic for feeling it but the house seems to loom over him a little as he stands on the front porch. “How do I look?” Jungkook asks, nervously smoothing down his shirt. Jungkook almost hadn’t come, citing something about needing to stream the album from all of his devices while he laid on the floor of his apartment, but Jimin would be damned if he came alone to this and it’s not like he had anyone else to ask. It helped that Taehyung invited Jungkook personally. “You look fine,” Jimin says. He tries to remember that this is huge for Jungkook, but it’s hard when the house is looming so much. He swallows hard and knocks on the door. The door opens and warm light spills out. Jimin can hear chatter happening deeper in the house with light music playing in the background. Yoongi smiles at them from the doorframe and the house doesn’t seem to loom as much anymore. “You guys made it!” Yoongi says and he’s smiling in a way that makes Jimin want to do something stupid, so he follows Jungkook into the house.
