I'm still here. We've been dog-wrangling, which has taken up a surprising amount of time since New Year's, trying to integrate a new dog with our old dog, and so far it's been difficult.

I'll be posting more soon. I'm still reading what people have to say and watching the passing show.

Happy New Year. May it be a much better year than many of us are expecting (dreading) and full of excellent surprises.

God, Elon Musk is a stupid, self-important prick, pimping the AfD (racist party) in Germany. All this because he failed to treat his own trans child properly and thinks she was "radicalized" by Twitter. Because he's rich, everyone in the world has to pay for his godawful parenting and tiny soul.

I'm tired of giving money to Amazon and Jeff Bezos, especially after he quashed the Post presidential endorsement and seems perfectly thrilled with our new lizard (and fellow billionaire) overlords. Alternative sources of online shopping welcomed.

I'm not so sure I'm thankful this year. Democracy appears to be slowly losing its mind, and Common Sense is wandering after it, muttering to itself and scratching fitfully.

Ah, well. Look, there's stuffing!
