Same thing happened to a coworker of mine. Was able to use it for *years* after cancelling. That they manage to screw up something that basic is incredible.

Oh and the company is PDFGuru. As it is, my dad tried to cancel the service when he went into hospice. They said it was canceled. Turns out they kept charging him anyway. The 2 yr offer was their reaction when I asked what was up with that after he passed. Very tone deaf at a minimum.

My town in Iowa (Iowa!) has free buses. It's great! It turns out that there are costs associated with collecting fares, so the system doesn't actually lose that much money by getting rid of them, and it has increased ridership and therefore decreased parking issues.
