The people I know that support trump have fallen into one or more of the following three categories… they have a legitimate intellectual disability, they have a mental health disorder, or they are morally corrupt (the majority).

I find that MAGA acolytes often react with anger and aggression to things they could easily ignore. I think that it stems from a deep-seated feeling of guilt that recognizes their racism, sexism, and selfishness, so they lash out in reaction to their shame.
