It sounds like a lot of work but I need a distraction from all the awful things that are happening everywhere.
This will be my space to discuss, scream and unload all the thoughts I've had of the islanders.

So I've been watching love island uk since mid October. The show started in 2015 and I'm about to start series 5 . So before I do that I decided that I'm going to post all the thoughts I've had for each series here and once I'm done. I will give a recap on the episodes I watched.

When I found out about this, I decided that I will start watching the uk version. I needed to see the origins of the show I'm obsessed with. Thankfully my new job it's not that demanding so I'm able to watch TV while I'm working. And what's even better love island uk is available in hulu.

So the show ended. I got a job by the end of summer, but I kept thinking about it. I needed my fix. So I was about to watched the older seasons of the US version when I found out that the original series came from the UK. Not only that but Australia also has its own version.

The show is superficial. But it does have a basic human side to it.
We all want to find love. Attractive or not, we all want that.
So that's why I love Love Island.

In short hot people find love while having the summer of their lives. It left me wondering why I love it soo much and the answer is simple. I'm a hopeless romantic.

The public does get a chance to vote for their fav couple. But it's up to the "islanders" to get together. Oh and once and a while new hot people come in which are called "bombshells". Which is the factor that brings drama to the house or "villa"

If you've never heard of Love Island. This is the premise of the show.
Straight, young, hot people looking for love that are stuck in a mansion (usually in a tropical setting) for the summer. They'll interact with each other and if they're attractive they get couple up.

I couldn't believe that I got obsessed with love island so fast. I really don't watch reality TV that much, but this show has something that caught my eye and my feelings.

I started watching the show I think 2 weeks before it ended and I got so invested that I was able to caught up and watch the final live. So much drama and so so juicy.

While browsing the socials I kept seeing posts of Love Island USA and how dramatic things were that curiosity and boredom won and started watching. And would you believe i saw like 5 episodes in a day. And couldn't stop watching.

A bit of info.
I heard of the show countless times but never gave it a chance because it looked so dumb. But last year during the summer I lost my job and had a lot of free time on my hands.

So I decided to start this journey in bluesky with my thoughts and feelings on my latest reality TV obsession... love island.
