As a long time supporter, your vote was incredibly disappointing. His death was a tragedy (as are the deaths of countless other victims of gun violence), but his life’s work of gleefully spewing divisiveness and hatred certainly was not worthy of honor.

An appallingly high number of Democrats don’t support trans women in women’s sports. I think that’s terrible, but I’m certainly not going to tell them all to not show up on Election Day because I don’t want their votes.

Democrats are simply more willing to criticize their own party when they see something they don’t like. They aren’t cult members who blindly parrot their party’s talking points, no matter how crazy or detrimental they may be, or who walk around wearing shirts/hats with their party leader’s name.

So Democrats need to “do their jobs” in order to satisfy American voters? Yet, Republicans can focus on crazy conspiracy theories and fringe social/culture war issues that have zero to minimal real world impact and the voters never seem to be punish them?

If you’re over 18 in PR, is it illegal to get plastic surgery (if you just don’t like the way your body looks)? Is it illegal to get testosterone injections (if you claim you have “low T”)? How is it then not ok to get these things if you’re transgender?

Not sure why they’re denying the story. The 19 year old was Gabriela Sabatini. It was well-known that they had a brief romance when he was taking a break from Marla Maples (with whom he was cheating on Ivanna). He was in his 40s at the time.

Democrats need to reclaim the narrative on trans rights. It’s not about giving them special treatment. It’s about dignity. Whether you’re a trans person, a laid-off factory worker, or an immigrant trying to make a better life, you want to be seen, feel valued, and know that there is a place for you.
