My fine-tune model failed due to "hate, self-harm, sexual" moderation checks. But the training data was about teaching how to code.

GPT said that it's due to snippets of a word. There's no way, right?

Google, as a company, is still using Flutter in its own applications. One recent example is YouTube Create, which is a video editor application for YouTube.

Google Trends shows Flutter at an all time high, but more flat since 2023.

Other technologies like React Native and Kotlin are slightly down.

My guess is that AI chatbots have slowed down everything on Google Trends

Does anybody else find macOS 26 feels kinda childish?

- the corners are too round
- the buttons are way bigger
- usability not better

It feels like this design was made to be more dopamine-inducing than productive

We are adding a roadmap to our changelog so you can see what we are working on. What do you like better?

1️⃣ Kanban
2️⃣ Only the In Progress (less clutter)

Also surprise! We are working on a Dart course!

We added a changelog, and I think it's the nicest changelog I've ever seen.

What do you think?

Pretty crazy that we went from a computer filling a room to a thin little device.

And fundamentally, they both work the same way. Little transistors turning ON and OFF.

The first weekend of the Sep-Dec Lock In was an overhaul of the site to have a cohesive brand and professional look and feel.

Now the entire site follows the design style I call: "Modern Analog".

I couldn't be prouder. It feels like the site is becoming an extension of us.

This phone is the perfect example of product-market fit

- I dont really like the people/company that made it
- It’s full of annoying bugs

And I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Oh man, it's happening. Launching our next product in 24 hours!

It's our first not-directly-flutter-related product. It's related to backend dev, and it's a topic that's been the scariest in development for me.

a dependency of a dependency brought our site down for almost 1hr today.

we already self host a lot, this incident is going to speed that process up.

btw launching our new related product on monday.

Tomorrow, I’m releasing a video that is the most time I’ve ever spent on a single video.

In 5 years of making videos.

We were planning to have our second Launch Week start today.

Due to some last-minute updates, we will start tomorrow.

We had 5 days of announcements but will do two in one day to make it 4 massive updates.

I'm so excited!

Before we built the in-browser editor, our refund rate was around 8%.

Afterwards, it's basically 0. (<1%)

You need 2 things for a successful online business.

1. A conversion rate (a product that people want at a price they are willing to pay)
2. Visitors (reaching those people)
