Lover of the finer things in life— food, cars, nature, family and common sense based progressive ideas.
Two masters at playing their base. Good on Bill Maher for saying fuck you to the far left.

Word. First Bill Maher, now Mamdani. Viva democracy!!

Bill Maher is your daddy
November 21, 2025 at 11:38 PM
Sorry kid. You’re a hypocrite.
November 21, 2025 at 10:55 PM
Even if I were to buy your argument, Biden was a moderate compared to Bernard. We still haven’t picked a far left candidate for president. That may change but it has not happened in recent history.
November 17, 2025 at 10:14 PM
Really? I can think of the last 3 democrats who won the presidency being chosen by the moderates.
November 17, 2025 at 10:09 PM
Agreed. But only the bluesky sect of the party, the majority of the party that sits on the moderate branch has no issues with him. That’s the beauty of democracy may the voters pick!
November 17, 2025 at 9:54 PM
It is. It’s the same as if black people said they wouldn’t vote for democrats unless they supported reparations, or us unless they supported abolishing ICE. It ain’t how life works, you can’t always get what you want.

I have. Every community (including my own) has an extreme wing.

Newsom has never attacked trans people. He’s only supported them. It’s unlikely this will be an issue in 28 given the state of the country now, and then.
November 17, 2025 at 4:47 AM
Only problem with that statement is that as governor, Newsom has done more for the trans community than any other. Maybe it’s pandering to the electorate, but most Americans are with Newsom’s position regarding trans in sports.

I'm all for Pete (my fav), but right now Newsom is the front runner . . . We're 3 years away, that's light years in politics.
November 16, 2025 at 11:57 PM
You can block me. I’m not going to be told what to do on Bluesky 🤣
November 15, 2025 at 11:03 PM
I could have. But directness is needed in this world of endless false controversies 😑
November 15, 2025 at 9:55 PM
Don't self victimize. It's not your post it's labeling rude, it's the words from the dept of Homeland Security.
November 15, 2025 at 6:00 PM
You’re telling us the problem without providing a solution. You can do better Jon.
November 15, 2025 at 3:09 AM
Are you also aware the place chimichurri is from has better beef than Texas? 😅
November 14, 2025 at 2:00 AM
The bigger question is, why are you not correcting the statement given you are a reputable source for many people? We're talking not about ACA subsidies but the extended ACA subsidies passed during the pandemic.
November 10, 2025 at 1:06 AM
If you can't see the responses here by the far left. You're deep in the bubble.
November 10, 2025 at 12:43 AM
Just remember that BlueSky is mostly keyboard warriors who are unaffected by the shutdown. Meanwhile millions of Americans don't have enough to eat because of it. Basic human needs should always come before politics. Dems did great here. Let the far left have their tantrum and ignore :)
November 9, 2025 at 11:29 PM
The hot take is that you're a single minded individual that does not realize that the Democratic Party is actually diverse and has room for centrist, far left, and common sense folks. But that won't help with your engagement on BlueSky. Being a Tucker Carlson is your game.

Trump or no Trump, Argentina still got the best beef in the world. 😋
October 22, 2025 at 4:31 AM
Only small people obsess over crowd sizes, such as Donald Trump.
October 20, 2025 at 5:35 PM
Absolutely. But the only demographic to always vote republican is the white male. Even in the last election most Hispanics voted Democrat. 🙌🏼
October 15, 2025 at 5:08 PM
My apologies. Cubans are indeed mostly Republicans.
