It frustrates the living hell out of me that so many many people (the majority it seems) will just say "I think that person is important, so I won't question anything they tell me." This is where we get lost. Everyone has an agenda (some more equitable than others), do research. Verify "truths"

So many people are blaming the news outlets for where we are today politically. Yes, most of them have abdicated their responsibility to report truth but what actually got us here is humanity's obsession with entertainment. The media corps just followed the money, we are the one who put it there.

If you want to better understand some of the stuff going on in the world I highly suggest checking Last Week Tonight by John Oliver. He does a fantastic job of doing a deep dive WITH nuance about a lot of things.

I fall firmly on the side of humanitarians and ecological justice. I see a lot of people throwing around various reasons for the nightmare we are all bracing for. While there are some very good points being made, there is one thing that I have been seeing that no one is talking about.
