I probably let my own vision of recent events prompt my response. These types of solutions deserve to get full consideration. I'm searching for approaches that promote vetting without provoking. But damn, I'm starting to sound like a kid in a family with an alcoholic father.

Having served locally on planning commissions and city councils I would avoid framing advocacy of these alternatives as a right \left choice. Advocacy might be more effective by framing these choices as effective tools to address property taxes or add value.
