Watch the Michael Lewis clip with Colbert. It’s put so much in perspective for me. Trump is not merely anti-truth, he’s actively trying to erode all “trust relationship”. Then, and only then, can he compete. If he keeps us from trusting anywhere then any narrative which resonates will be believed.
