I think it's bad taste to be making jokes when the UK is being plagued by this new disease. It's making people forget 80s music. Its really worrying because nobody knows the cure.

Not sure how legitimate Mars is as a goal, the rocket is only one of a multitude of things that need to be in place. It does seem to be true that military is interested in Starship as rapid delivery system on Earth. I wonder how much of the Mars talk is PR cover for milliary funding and intent.

in perspective though, over a 6 month period this has been signed by less than 0.8% of the UK electorate.
