YouTube used to be a place I found a lot of fun stuff, but anymore the app wants to open onto "shorts" in an effort to become like TikTok, and much like TikTok, the shorts I get are a trainwreck I can't seem to look away from... I turned off my watch history and that helped some, but jfc.

I try not to use Amazon, but I do sometimes perform searches to see if something *exists* and the last couple of times I did it forcibly ran the search through their AI "Rufus" in a sidebar. I've been ignoring those AI suggestions for probably a year now, it wasn't that I didn't know about them.
